In 1945 Leon Niles, Larry Webster and Jerome Miles started the Canyon Corral by Butlers Barn in Niles Valley. Later Ralph Evans sold them the current location of The Wellsboro Riding Club on Cherry Flats Road.
Wellsboro Riding Club hosts 2 day horse shows, learning clinics, and Kids Camps all to teach correct techniques for showing and working around horses.
