TIMQ, Inc: Veterans In The Wild Golf Tournament seeks sponsors

The mission of Veterans in the Wild is to provide our American Veterans of all ages and branches with an alternative form of therapy by using outdoor experiences to help them find peace.  Using adventures in the Pennsylvania wild such as hunting, fishing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding and others to create a passion that will last a lifetime.  Our slogan, You Are Never Alone, is what we want all Veterans to understand and pass along.

Please think about joining the Mansfield’s 4th of July Celebration

Bring the whole family out for the nostalgic fun of a hometown 4th of July celebration! From vendors and food to the parade and an amazing display of fireworks and so much more, this is an event that you won’t want to miss!

Vendors have the opportunity to set up for 2 days, July 3rd and 4th. Set up on July 3rd will begin at 4PM to have sales 6PM-10PM. If you choose to set up ONLY on the 4th, set up will begin at 8AM. Due to the parade set-up, vehicles will NOT be able to access the park after 9AM and all vehicles must be relocated by 9:45AM. Sales time will be 12PM until fireworks at dusk. The Moving Wall is a half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, “The Wall” which resides in Washington, DC.   This replica will be coming to Tioga County in July, 2024. 

Many volunteers are needed to help throughout the timeframe that the wall is here.

Volunteer Opportunities include: name locators, escorts to help visitors, rovers to answer questions and help keep the area clean, security guars, parking attendants, readers and much more. To volunteer visit The Tioga County Moving Wall Project Website
